Questions about iDEAL

What does an iDEAL payment cost?

Mollie charges a small fixed fee per successful iDEAL transaction (see mollie.com/pricing). Formuliermet.nl doesn't charge anything per transaction — see our pricing.

How quickly is the money in my account?

iDEAL payments land in your Mollie balance immediately; Mollie pays out to your bank account according to your schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly).

Does iDEAL also work with a QR code?

Yes, indirectly, and very practically: you print the QR code of your form; whoever scans it lands on the form and pays there via iDEAL.

Can I combine iDEAL with automatic direct debit?

Yes. With the subscription field, the first payment is an iDEAL payment; this authorizes the respondent's subsequent direct debits.
